Pack a lunch, some snacks, and your favorite outdoor game!  We’ll meet you at Long Leaf Park Shelter 4 for a family fun day!

BLACK BELT 6-HR WORKOUT

Don’t sweat it, you’ll get it!!  Good luck to all of our eligible red belts this cycle, we know you’ll prove your strength at the 6-hour work out on November 15, from 9am-3pm.

The DMA Team will be spending Thanksgiving filled with gratitude for every DMA Family, every DMA student, and for the opportunity to be part of your lives.  We are living our dreams, thanks to you.  Our greatest hope as instructors, and as a team is to make a positive difference in your child’s future, and to continue doing what we do best for many, many more years to come.

Belt Testing and Ceremony

Belt Testing is about a month away on December 6.  Master Yu will be sending an email with the testing candidate list in the next few days.  Please check the list and confirm that your child’s information is correct.

Testing Day times will be as follows:

Youth Beginner 9-9:30am

Youth Intermediate 9:30-10:30am

Teen Beginner/Intermediate 10:30-11am

All Ages Advanced 11-12pm

Black Belt Testing 12:30pm

The following week, December 13 we will have the Belt Ceremony.  Please check the list below to view your ceremony times.

Youth Beginner and Intermediate 9-10:00am

Teens 10-10:30am

Advanced and Black Belt 10:30am

The Grinch Takes DMA!

December 20, the DMA Team will be hosting the last Parents Night Out of 2025 - The Grinch Takes DMA.  Mark you calendars!  ActionPack Families will receive enrollment information the last week of November.  All other students will be notified of open enrollment with the December Newsletter around Dec. 1.

These parties fill-up fast!  September, we had a waitlist of 15+ kiddos.  October, we were filled with a waitlist in the first five days!!  Be prepared to register, and don’t miss out on DMA’s BIGGEST celebration of the year.

NOTE: Due to several no-shows at each party (our Halloween Bash had 9 no-shows), DMA is issuing a new “Failure to Attend” policy for all ActionPack Families. ActionPack members that are a no-show will now receive a $25 charge per registrant to their account.All of our parties have a waitlist of children who hope to attend.  If you will not make it, please inform us as soon as possible to avoid this fee, and so we can allow other children the opportunity to participate.
